Heartsaver (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillation (AED)
The Heartsaver Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillation (AED) course contains up-to-date content and science from the 2015 Guidelines for CPR and ECC. It is designed to teach lay rescuers the lifesaving skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and relief of choking in adults, children and infants, as well as how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) with both adults and children. (Training in infant and child CPR and choking relief are optional.) The course is designed for those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements.
This course targets the general public which includes, family members, school teachers, adult care givers, and seniors. There is a skills test but NO written examination.

Approximate Course Length: 4 Hours
To receive a Heartsaver CPR & AED course completion card, students must pass a skills test.
